CANKER SORES not COLD SORES!Are canker sores herpes?
No. Canker sores are NOT herpes (cold sores).
Cold sores — also called confusion blisters — are quite different from canker sores, a condition relations sometimes associate them with. Cold sores are cause by the herpes simplex virus, and they're contagious. Canker sores, which aren't contagious, are ulcers that crop up in the soft tissues inside your mouth, places where on earth cold sores don't occur.
