I was diagnosed at 21, a moment ago a couple of months before my 22nd birthday.
It be at the end of my senior year of college. Boy be that a pain! All turned out ably in the call a halt, and now I'm on a pump and love it so much more than the Humalog/Lantus I be on before...
When I have my pump training I met a woman who had be diagnosed at 35 or 40. I was shocked! I have heard that up till 25 be actually possible, but that's the first time I hear of that late a diagnosis.
One other guy at the training have been diagnosed as a kid roughly 40 years ago and had have to spend a MONTH in the hospital. Wow...I'm glad technology and prescription have come farther. When I be diagnosed in 1990, I be in for 5 days and tons folks now don't jump in at adjectives.
