Any elder kids beside heart problems?

Hi! I'm 15 and I have be working with the president of a non-profit system that provides support for people artificial by congenital heart disease in Houston, Texas, to start up a teen support group. It's going to be non-profit too. I be wondering if any older (12 - 20) CHD kids could provide me some advice as to what events you would similar to to participate within. Right now, the 'mother' group is partnered next to the Houston Zoo and Children's Museum, among others, and so we have events nearby where our right of entry is free! I am trying to think of places that elder kids would like to progress. Any suggestions?Any elder kids beside heart problems?
In Australia we have a group call Heartkids that are a fantastic support. They get a quarterly newsletter call "Teen beat" and they have an annual military camp where heart teens can grasp together and support each other. There are celebs that hold heart conditions such as actors ans sports relatives, but as my little heartkid is only 2 1/2 I am not sure of other comings and goings they offer.
