im allergic to penicilin and amoxocilin and im fairly persuaded that i have strep throat so i be wondering if any thing have to be done to treat this how long will it last in need treatment?Are nearby any alternatives to antibiotics one can cart for strep throat?
You always own to have treatment for strepthroat. It lead to a heart disease called rheumatic restlessness if you don't treat it. There are many other antibiotics, EES, adjectives the sulpha drugs, newer antibiotics. I am also allergic to PA. I have taken Amoxicillin and apmpicillian ok, but few doctors will prescribe them if you are alllergic to PA. You can bear all the "sulphides" and "mycins" as an alternative if you are allergic to the "cillians".
Please please do not whip the earlier warning given about simply using VitC or Iodine. Strep throat is different than other bacterial infections. This one will exterminate your heart if you don't treat it. It is a very serious bacterial infection.

It will not dance away on its own, you need a broad spectrum antibiotic. There are some that are not penicillin derived that your doctor can prescribe. If you tolerate this go to long, you put yourself at risk for rhuematic heart disease, this is cause by strep infections that go untreated. Go to your doctor asap.
