I hear that US scientists have developed a vaccine (not on the bazaar yet), but not a cure for those who have already contracted the virus.
Do you appropriate L-Lysine (100mg) every day? I find that help (with a good multi-vitamin). Also own you got the cold sore piece of equipment (http://www.vcs.eu.com/) developed by dentists in the UK? My sister bought it for me, and it have seem to work so far. I meditate that it a better investment that the creams. I don't think they do too much.
I enjoy a tip for you. There are prescription drugs out there that can nip them within the bud. I have gotten bleak ones for years, I mean, really desperate. The prescription stuff really works, if you take it as soon as you be aware of it coming on. Ask your doctor, why suffer?
cold sores are caused by a herpes virus that most individuals have contained by their bodies...the virus hides within nerve ganglion and only surface periodically perchance due to stress, anxiety, or mechanical desecrate to the area...over exposure to sun can do them to erupt. Don't know if science will ever conquer this one.
