Back Curverture?

My friend had a physical for sports a month ago and at the appendage she was asked to bend over for a spine check. Apparently she have a lump or something near/on her spine. It wasn't a tumor or anything. But the doctors said it could get worse and they have to watch it. There is no anguish and she never realized it up to that time. I'm not sure what this is called. If you know, can you put in the picture me. Also, websites with pictures. Thanks.Back Curverture?
Usually gym class physicals look for scoliosis. There are several different ways the backbone can curve though a couple others are lordosis and kyphosis. This link will show how these curves appear http://www.spineuniverse.com/displayarti...
There are several sources on the network when you know what to look for. I'm sure NIH, wikipedia, webmd would all enjoy information also.
Only if the curve becomes legitimate bad or here is pain will they probably do anything to help/stop it which would probably be rods surrounded by the back.
